Now it gets a little complicated. There are a whole whack of stories to choose from. I'll try to organize them.

Laughing Matter is a series of stories about a fictional suburban town. Located to the north of West Utopia, East Utopia is both affluent and egalitarian. Every house is built on the same model with a variety of facades to help the citizens find their way home. Every lot is exactly the same size and shape. There's a parkette on every corner. But life is East Utopia is decidedly different.
| Auntie still hangs out | There's something in the air in East Utopia and it's blowin' in the wind. |
| Uncle's lost in the mail | A wanderer takes an eternity to get home |
| Parents
are from earth, Teenagers are from the moon |
My other logic genes are in the laundry |
| Busing in East Utopia | Getting there is all the fun |
| The Bedding Rules | It had to happen sometime |
| Ecoterrorism in the suburbs | Bylaws Gone Bad |
| Thinking outside the box | Taking back the basement |
| How I achieved world peace | Nobel intentions |
| Sagging Cinderella | Life's a ball if you hold up |
| A pound of cured | Drawing a bead on fat |

Once upon a time, make that all the time, I like to make fun of sailors in general and sailboat racers in particular. This a selection of stories, articles and an opera that make light of hot air.
| Sailboat Building for the Home Handyman | After the renovation, after the divorce, a boat's the ticket to ride |
| What
in the World's? (pdf only) |

| The
Girl from C.R.E.W. (pdf only) |

And then there's these:
| Miss Lily's School for Men | Chainsaw Cuisine |
| A Magic Carpet in My Pocket | An ode to the handkerchief |
